Cruising from Lesbos through Dardanelles to Istanbul, Bulgaria (June), Romania, Ukraine (July), south to Turkish Black Sea and then hopefully east to Georgia (Sept)
Ideally I would like a long-term mate for both sailing and life but space too for visiting crew.
The Espace is a 34' motor sailor but of a rather individual design with the big emphasis on sailing. Tiller steering in the cockpit with big lockers (no rear cabin), sleek bimini, big bathing platform and davits. Slightly raised saloon with all-round views and with a wheel-steering position. (Never used that last year in the Greek sunshine). Passageway forwards to galley, master's mid cabin, heads, forecabin.
I aim to sail rather gently! Four hours a day every other day is my general planning schedule so progress is just from port to port. Spend roughly alternate nights at harbour (not marinas) and at anchor - for peaceful swimming and gentle rows.
