SAGA HAS SOLD!!!

The ALBERG 35 is a fully found offshore blue water passage maker. SAGA was built in 1964 in Bristol, RI, Hull # 114. We purchased her in 1993 from her original owner. She was built under the owner’s watchful eye. He had a custom interior installed, which we have painstakenly “cruiser-ized” to add additional storage and to make her more comfortable throughout. SAGA is a proven cruiser and is in mid-cruise from San Francisco to Miami via the Panama Canal.

LAYOUT & ACCOMMODATIONS:
Main Cabin Arrangement 2: In this custom interior arrangement the entire starboard side of the main cabin is devoted to a large settee or sea berth with custom storage below, accessible through hinged doors or through cut-outs in the seat. Storage has been enlarged through generous cut-outs behind the back cushions and in a two-shelf area above the seat with sliding doors. Directly aft of the settee is a large quarterberth area. The icebox is located aft of the settee and has two large removable lids. Directly opposite the settee is a convertible drop leaf dinette capable of seating up to six people and easily lowered to form a wide double bunk. This table can remain in place without blocking the passageway to the forward cabin. In addition, a smaller drop leaf has been added to the side facing the settee for the additional ease of use. A teak cabin sole 38.5" wide give unusual spaciousness in the main cabin. Four large fixed ports provide abundant light. Hatches in the cabin sole provide access to bilge and water tank fills.
GALLEY:
A large stainless steel sink with pressure water and inline filter sits just across the cabin from the quarterberth. There are teak storage racks for dishes, glasses and cutlery as well as drawer and locker space for other stowage. A very desirable option is the Hiller two-burner alcohol stove that comes complete with an oven. This stove fits neatly into the counter and is on gimbals. There is additional storage below the stove. Custom Yacht Pockets throughout.
HEAD:
The head is located between the main cabin and the forward stateroom. Utilizing the entire width of the hull, the head area provides a Raritan marine toilet with sea cocks, a washbasin with pressure water and a in-line ball cock to prevent any seas coming in during passages, a shower, a large hanging locker on the port side and linen lockers on the starboard side. The non-skid fiberglass shower tray is exposed by folding the hinged teak floor of the head out of the way. This tray drains into a sump tank with an automatic electric pump which pumps the contents over the side. Two dorade-type ventilators and two opening portholes provide abundant fresh air.
V-BERTH:
The forward stateroom is equipped with two generous berths, (We have installed a folding insert that transforms the two separate berths into one large berth that is 7' at the head! Two custom cushions with new mildew-resistant Sunbrella covers form the comfortable mattress. A large hanging locker is on the starboard side and a vanity or dressing table with cabinets above are on the port. Below the berth drawers and lockers provide abundant room for stowage. A large translucent hatch overhead provides light and access from the forward deck. Four opening ports provide both light and ventilation. All ground tackle can be stowed in the forepeak. The anchor rode is fed through a 3" deck plate forward. There is additional ventilation via a cowl vent.
COCKPIT:
