I just bought some nanni marinized parts for a mercedes engine and they need to be cleaned
up in and out and wanted to know whats the best product to clean these with? I have been
told to use a carb cleaner to clean them up and wire brush to remove the corrosion and rust...
any input? Thanks in advance!

Quote Reply | Hi buddy,I´m glad to help you,if I can.
If we´r only talking about some ordinary parts from dealer, they are a coated with lacquer, that usually
solves by terpentine(Kerosene). But if you have your parts rusted, you most likely,
have them damaged as well,so its hard to tell how to fix, unless knowing more about the case.
But most of the time, the kerosene or even a diesel will not harm the parts, and most loose dirt comes
off.I would not recommend any type of brushing with wirebrush or abrasive paper or that alike,
unless seeing first if it´s o.k.
Good luck to you Bergthor
