All of my major trips are over. I have sailed around the world, got back and rested up then sailed back to the Med again for another 3 years. We had a great time sailing around France, Italy and Greece with some wonderful people. I have finished my fifth trans Atlantic trip and am now ready to do some local sailing. Contact me now if you want to sail around the SE Coast of the US or the Bahamas. I am NOT looking for "crew", “navigators” or “photographers”, I can sail the boat myself. I am professional US Coast Guard Master and I charge for trips to take sailors out just for fun or increased sailing experience and training. If you are not interested in sailing but just relaxing and having a good time this is OK with me. Singles and couples welcome. I will have several types of trips: Sail to the Bahamas (3 days ocean sailing) and then spend another 4 days exploring, snorkeling, walking deserted beaches there before flying home, or spend a week sailing the Bahamas flying both ways. Just want to sail? A 3-4 day trip out to the Gulf Stream and back or up and down the East Coast exploring some of the Georgia Sea Islands. Most trips are 7-10 days and are usually in the $125 to $150 a day range which includes the boat, fuel, captain, instruction if wanted, dinghy/motor, bunk, linens and all food while sailing. What about a 3 day trip from Hilton Head Island up to Charleston to view the total eclipse for an unobstructed view while swimming, fishing relaxing etc. Return to Hilton Head. Everything provided. I can take anywhere from 2 to 6 people on a 52 foot boat. Contact me for complete info on any trip plus photos of the boat. Thanks for looking. Jack Loda US Coast Guard Master 843-422-3172
