There are 2 berths left to sail around Fiji from Mid July 2016 to November and then on to Opua, New Zealand. Minimum stay is preferably one month, we share the cost of food and drinks on a fixed daily basis. We also do a lot of Scuba diving onboard and I do have a compressor. If seriously interested feel free to contact me for more details. Charisma is a Vagabond 47, designed by William Gardner and was built in Taiwan by Blue Water Yacht in 1990. Charisma is 54 feet LOA, 47 feet deck length, 36 feet at the water line and draft 6 feet. She has a full sail wardrobe in good condition, the Mainsail, Staysail and Yankee are all new. A 100 HP Volvo Penta allows for a cruising speed of 5 to 6 knots depending on sea condition. A 7 KVA Onan generator runs battery charger, water maker, fridge, freezer, air conditioner, hot water and all sort of ancillary machineries. The dive compressor is a standalone petrol powered Bauer Junior II. In order to keep the boat sailing safely in remote areas there are a large number of spare parts and tools on board. She is a true live aboard that would go anywhere in comfort. There are 2 double cabins, 1 single and 1 berth in the salon that would accommodate 6 crews. The galley is well equipped with gas stove, oven, the above mentioned fridge and freezer, lot of storage space and pressured water. She carries 1200 liters of diesel and 800 liters of water. There are 2 heads and showers. The usual full array of electronic instruments makes navigation easy. As far as safety is concerned there is a Life Raft, horse shoe buoys, life sling, parachute flares, handheld flares, smoke signal, horns, life jackets, jack lines, new lifelines, handheld VHF, Iridium satellite phone and 2 grab bags. Charisma undergoes on average 3 months of maintenance/improvement per year in addition to periodic refit. The latest as of January 2016 is a complete new standing rigging, new water tank, in depth electrical and mechanical maintenance to name just a few.
