Cheoy Lee 27' Offshore, a very simple, modest boat. I bought it just very recently and love it. Being that I bought the boat to cruise, and not sit on it and wait for people to walk by and say how pretty she is, it's really a bare bones kind of boat. A spartan galley, a few bunks, no head, sails that dont really, but kind of fit and a Yanmar one banger that gets me in and out of ports. Currently in Texas working on the boat, I'll head toward New Orleans soon in search of work, a month or two there and I'll head towards Cuba and the islands, then up the USA East Coast towards New York City to work a few months before crossing over to the Med for the winter. I'm sailing on a super tight budget and loving every second of it. Like everyone else, I'm after that 1000 lb Marlin, but am also considering the proccess of its catch. If youre anywhere near League City Texas, give me a call and stop by for a cup of stove top espresso. I'll tell you a story, it's a good life to live. If you want to sail with me bear in mind that it's a safe but spartan boat. I also tend to keep expenses to a minimum and I'm very adventurous to say the least.
